Further to notice sent out on 30th October 2019, please find attached our AGM notice and forms required from Members by this Friday, 15th November 2019.
Our 9th Annual General Meeting will be held next Tuesday, 19th November 2019 at the Dandenong RSL (Palm View Lounge) from 6:45pm.

It is imperative that you advise if you can attend as it will impact on the future of APA Victoria.

NOTICE TO MEMBERS – APA Victoria’s New Rules & AGM 2019

  1. Adoption of APA Victoria Rules – Monday, 21st October 2019

On Monday, 21st October 2019, a Special General Meeting was held for the sole purpose of formally adopting APA Victoria’s new Rules as motioned and passed by resolution in our 2018 AGM.

Members in attendance were:
Thomas Orchard, Alexis Michael, Alison Renny, Bruno Bageun, Teri Morris and Sven Holzheimer, with Michael Konstantinou arriving post-meeting.

Apologies were received from:
Brendan Holman, Jenny Daniels, Rob Evans, Laura Wirth (via Teri), Jason Tosch (via Thomas), and Michael Konstantinou (via Alexis).

The meeting officially commenced at 7:15pm, and was chaired by Bruno Bageun (Treasurer), who thanked members who were able to attend and acknowledged those who forwarded their apologies.

Alexis Michael (Secretary) advised of votes received by fax and email.

Including members present, a total of twelve (12) votes were counted in the affirmative to accept our new rules. With no dissent, Bruno Bageun motioned for the new Rules to be passed, which was seconded by Alison Renny (Liaison).

Motion was carried, and the special general meeting ended at 7:25pm.

Members are hereby advised that the Change of Rules was submitted to Consumer Affairs Victoria on Wednesday, 30th October 2019. Our new rules are on our website for all members to view.

  1. Annual General Meeting – Tuesday, 19th November 2019

Notice is hereby given to all members of APA Victoria Inc. of our 9th Annual General Meeting to be held at the Dandenong RSL (Palm View Lounge) from 6:45pm on Tuesday, 19th November 2019.

All members are eligible to nominate for the committee positions of President, Vice-President, State Liaison Officer, Treasurer and Secretary.

Anyone interested in roles on the General Committee are invited to submit an expression of interest. Committee meets monthly at Cranbourne RSL, and remote attendance via Google Hangout or telephone is also conveniently available.

The Agenda, and Proxy and Nomination Forms will be broadcast to all members and posted on our website by this Friday, 1st November 2019.

EBA Update: Log of Claims v3 AVEA 2019, submitted 03 Sep 2019

EBA Update for Members – 15 October 2019

APA Victoria’s EBA Liaison team have continued in negotiations for the current AV-EA 2019 on our members’ behalf, and submitted an updated version of our Log of Claims to Ambulance Victoria (AV) and the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) in early September 2019.

We look forward to continuing in the collaborative nature that informal discussions, formal negotiations, and working groups have demonstrated, and we also look forward to receiving more feedback and enquiries from our members.

Dear Members,

Notice is hereby given of a Special General Meeting called by APA Victoria’s Committee for its Members to vote to accept the new rules of the association, as proposed in our 2018 AGM.

Members are invited to attend the meeting in person, or forward their vote by email or fax using the voting form attached.

APA Victoria’s EBA Liaison team has submitted our Log of Claims to Ambulance Victoria (AV) and the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), and will continue to update our log of claims to represent your concerns in the most efficient and practicable manner, as you raise further issues.
